Renault Sport Clio 197 Recaros, Cambelt Done
I intended to keep this car indefinitely and have spent a lot refreshing the chassis and brakes, so it drives beautifully, but a house move means I very unfortunately need to sell. MOT until 18/08/2020, NO advisories.
It has Recaro seats in exceptional condition no bolster or fabric wear at all. It has had most of the major jobs these cars typically require done within the past year (most done two months ago). Receipts are provided for everything.Poly upper engine mount (lower in car, not fitted). Swivel hub (left changed two months ago, right was inspected and had been changed before my ownership and was fine). Front brake discs & pads (OEM). Rear brake discs & pads (OEM).
Inner & outer tie rods. Bridgestone Potenza Re070 tyres all round. It drives exceptionally well no knocks/crashes from the suspension.The gearbox does NOT crunch at all. The interior is in exceptional condition. Its clean, no scrapes, and the seats are amazing. The soft plastic on the airbag on the drivers seat has a mark or two, but its inevitable with the material its made from.
The inserts and facia have been prayed in a grey rubberised paint and look brilliant. However, leather is peeling on the steering wheel. Bodywork wise, there are a few marks here and there but its in great condition straight.
The paintwork is shiny and the wheels are in excellent condition (one has a slight curbing mark, though it isnt particularly noticeable). Im reluctant to let it go, but Im moving to a house without a garage, so need to go to one car. Its been used as a weekend/summer car during the three and a half years Ive owned it and has been looked after meticulously.
Service book is stamped to 2016, invoices back all other work complete. Oil and filter services have been carried out at least every 12 months by myself, though bigger jobs have been done by an RS specialist or local AMG specialist.
