Renault Clio Sport 172 (FSH, Low Mileage, 2 Prev Owners)

My beloved Renault Sport Clio 172. Ive owned this car for 4+ years now, and the car has been an absolute pleasure to own over this time. The car comes with only 2 previous owners, the first owner having it from brand new until 3 months before I got it. I have the contact details of the 2 previous owners. Owner 1: New, Jan 2003-May 2015.

Owner 3 (me): July 2015-now. This car has never gone wanting for anything, and has always been maintained regardless of cost. Two years and only 3800 miles ago, the car had the all important cambelt, aux belt, dephaser and water pump replacement at Rentec. The car comes with a comprehensive and full service history, being looked after by Rentec Renault Specialists in Edinburgh for services since I have owned it.

Nov 2003: 12k, Full Service, Lookers Renault. March 2005: 24k, Full Service, Lookers Renault. July 2006: 37k, Full Service, Toomey Renault. July 2007: 45k, Full Service. April 2008: 49k, Full 48k Service.

June 2008: Replaced track rod ends. Nov 2008: Replaced wheel bearings, 2x brake pads. July 2009: 56k, Service, 2x brake discs & pads. March 2010: 59k, Full Service.

May 2010: 60k, new cylinder head gasket, inlet valves, exhaust valves, head bolt set & cam belt. Oct 2011: 64k, Full Service. June 2014: 2x new tyres.

Jan 2014: 70k, Full Service. Dec 2015: 75k miles, Full Service, Rentec Edinburgh. July 2016: 76k, 2x new brake pads and disks, CVB replaced.

July 2017: 77k, ball joint and wheel bearings replaced. Sept 2017: New battery (5 year guarantee with AA). Oct 2017: 78k, Rentec Edinburgh, service, cambelt, dephaser, auxbelt, water pump. July 2017: 79k, coil spring. Dec 2018: 79k, washer pump, Rentec Edinburgh.

July 2019: 80k, shock absorber, 2x tie rod ends. I just could not part with it over the years and loved driving it every time when home.

Usual 172 spec (wont have mentioned everything above). It used to have a sub and amp in the boot, so all the wires are there if you want to install again.

Ktec racing stealth exhaust installed by the first owner. I have put grey 182 wheels on, rather than the standard silver 172 wheels. Looks much better now (I might still have the 172 wheels at a mates house). Fold out screen headunit installed by previous owner (original comes with it).

The car is 16 years old, so does have the odd scratch, lacquer peel etc here and there, but I think the overall condition is great for its age. No tears or rips in the interior. The steering wheel has the usual melted thumb grips and has a cover on it at the moment. Continental Sport 3 tyres all round, except for one budget put on at last MOT (due to low mileage being done).

The alloys could do with a refurb, but no damage. Rear pads & discs due. Car is currently located in Edinburgh. Text or call me on 07464 672063.
